Colon and Rectal Nerve and Muscle Holistic Rehabilitation

What happens when feces isn’t expelled fully and quickly enough; Holistic Nervous Rehab of Colon and Rectum; Emotional and Energetic Causes of Limpness in the area; Amazing Core Contraction Exercise; Beautiful Pictures of Poppies

Dear Ed,

There’s a pattern of symptoms that include digestive insufficiency where a person is able to digest food, but not able to expel feces out fully from the colon and rectum, the final part of the digestive tract, before feces leaves the body. Food held in the colon is supposed to be sent out of the body soon, not kept there for hours. When it is held there for a long time, things that the intestines designated to be thrown out, including poisons and excessive nutrients, begin to be taken back up into the body and then are deposited around the body. This adds to the body’s clean up work, and in the long run contributes to the development of tumors and cancers. Continue reading

Our energy does not come from food. Food and Vibration

How I increased my sensitivity to vibration; Food and Vibration; How we’re programed to manage energy levels based on our perception of whether we’ve eaten enough or not; Vibrationally dead versus Vibrationally alive food

Dear Ed,

When I got my first Bible, when I was seven, I opened it randomly and the first thing I read was:

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

I understood that as, “Reading this bible (word of God) is as important as eating food.” Continue reading

Vibrational Assault on the Liver – Signs and Herbs for Recovery

The liver’s work with frequency; Symptoms of Vibrational Assault on the Liver; Becoming allergic to one thing after another; Herbs for Recovery from Liver Trauma; Miasmatic Warfare; Liver Trauma caused by traumatic weaning off mother’s milk

Dear Ed,

Back in the day when Granddad was in the British Army, looking after horses, nearly all health problems were seen as aspects of liver weakness, damage, function and so on. Any sort of long term health support was rated as valuable or not on the basis of how much it supported the liver. Continue reading

Coffeebush for Anxiety caused by Deep Gut Tension; Freedom First!

How I first heard about Coffeebush or Leucaena leucocephala; Anxiety caused by deep gut and digestive tract lining dramas; A sign that your recent radical decision is right; Freedom First!

Dear Ed,

Plants flower and fruit not so much by the season as by their instinct. Just as fertility in humans is influenced almost completely by spiritual conditions – so it is with plants.

Therefore whether in season or out of season, when a plant flowers, it’s a message and it’s timely. Even more so when it comes into our awareness.

One of the plants, classified in many places as an invasive weed for its fertility and virile growth – (almost 10 feet a year!) – in flower right now is the Coffeebush, or Leucaena called “Ipil Ipil” in some Asian countries where it spread to from Mexico, “White leadtree” in other places.

There was this 10 year old child I came across in 2009 when I first started making energy medicine over the internet. The child was of Asian descent living in Canada. He’d developed this itch and then an infected spot on his left foot – an infection caught they supposed, by swimming somewhere. It was about 2 inches long and an inch wide, and was white with infection. Nothing they did could get rid of the infection and the child couldn’t wear shoes anymore as a result. The patch was just where sandals or slipper straps would be, so this child had to go bare feet to school or not at all.

He ended up dropping out of school for that year. Two surgeries were done, the results of which were a big wound, now black because it got infected worse.

I need hardly tell you how this all must have troubled a child of ten and his parents.

The parents gave up on physical anti-infection agents, and looked to holistic healing. Ed, if anyone takes the trouble to look to holistic healing, nine times out of ten it’s because the approach of treating a problem only from the physical aspect, failed.

On a business trip to New Mexico, the father took his child along, to give him a break from the boring life now always at home. There they came across this street performer who got to talking with them and with who they had coffee.

He told them his grandmother had had a spot like that on her FACE for thirty years and that it mysteriously disappeared when a cloth dipped in a holy well in a church had been brought and kept in the house. One thing led to another and the child and his Dad found themselves in this little old church with a natural spring that had healing properties.

Before they even got a cloth dipped in the water, as they sat in the back of the church, the child began to feel better. He started saying he wanted to play football not study, study, study, all the time. That he’d felt choked in his chest every morning when he went to school and that he felt angry with his parents and grandparents for always telling him to study and never appreciating his skills on the field.

On the average day, the Dad would’ve brushed all this off, but in that place, in that atmosphere, his heart listened and he promised his son that whenever he got well, he’d support him in playing football.

The wound dried up in about a week, making it possible for the child to wear shoes again. The scar was still there a few months later, but it simply wasn’t an issue anymore.

Why I mention this here, is because the photograph of the church showed this tree – Coffeebush or Leucaena (that means “white topped”) growing all around – old trees.

This tree is a potent consciousness, and atmosphere carrier of FREEDOM as a PRIORITY.

We are so conditioned in our times to accept limitations to our freedom of being, our freedom of spirit, freedom to express emotion, freedom in general.

Freedom has become something of a luxury, with Safety replacing it. A safety not based on instinct, but based on fear and hearsay and anxiety.

For me, this tree is a reminder that Freedom comes first, if we must live at all.

This tree in its young days is very easily uprooted by storms and rain. Yet it doesn’t mind because it just goes on growing and growing. Freedom first.

It is a potent anti-anxiety medicine – a member of the Mimosa family. It strengthens nerves and improves immunity for that reason.

It does what Granddad used to call “curdle the stomach.”

Often we have stuff lining the inner linings of our digestive tract that gunk up the place and prevent us from being able to digest things properly, absorb nutrition from the food we’re eating, and heal wounds inside such as ulcers.

ANY sort of digestive tract inner lining drama, the tea of the leaves Coffeebush will heal by gently stimulating the cells, like vinegar breaks down grease but a lot more gently.

A good majority of anxiety and related conditions, can be relieved by

relieving tension in the walls of the deep gut Continue reading

Stock up on Natural Vitamin C – Limes and Lemons

Wherein I rub in the fact that you’d best not catch the sniffles right now, while YOU KNOW WHAT is “raging”. And I explain the need for holistic immune support rather than just isolated Vitamin C, and how limes and lemons can repair the body’s ability to absorb and make nutrients we need, from whatever is our basic diet. I also describe six of the easiest methods to preserve limes for your own medicinal needs, and demonstrate with pics, the second easiest of them.

Ed, I usually don’t like to say stuff that’s been said before. But I simply have to. Because it’s SO important right now.

Anyone coming down with anything that mimics the seasonal flu – or coughing or a chest infection or even a sore throat, is in danger of being diagnosed with YOU KNOW WHAT.

One needn’t go through the horrors of the suspicion of YOU KNOW WHAT.

The store bought Vitamin C pills never really worked for me, and I suspect intelligent healthy bodies don’t really care for “dead” vitamin c like that. Vitamin C is an isolated substance from an eco system – the eco system being fruits like limes and lemons and berries.  The entire eco system is required for a holistic lift-up of the immune system.

Elder berries, Rosehips, Maritime Pine Bark are awesome concentrations of Vitamin C in the entire immunity building eco system. But not everyone is able to get them in times like this with half of stores being shut down and online sellers not being able to post things out. (Me for example – still can’t post treatments out.)

But here’s one really easy thing to do, and an extremely powerful medicine that can be made at home so very easily.

You just need to get about half a kg of limes or lemons and preserve them some way. Then you have a little of them every day as a preventative to coughs, colds etc. Or you have a lot of them if you begin to fall ill. It works like a charm, Ed.

I could hardly list the benefits of limes and lemons in this post. But I’ll just mention this one thing – It’s a commonly known thing that pregnant women taking Vitamin C have demonstrated such a remarkable rate of wellness compared to those not getting enough Vitamin C. The developing baby at every stage needs a whole lot of nutrients and Vit. C helps the body absorb calcium (for the bones) and so many other needs.

The energy of limes and lemons is simply energy generation. Whatever you need energy for in the body, it’ll be helped by fresh energy moving about.

In the old days, the few limes or lemons in the pockets of a prisoner being put on a ship to the colonies meant the difference between life and death as infections of all kinds were rife on the ships. Infections like scurvy that left their effect for generations.

So, what you need to remember is,

whatever you need, the lime will either provide it or help your body absorb that from your food.  Continue reading

5 Herbs to Release Gut Tension & Help Your Body Process Medicines

A while ago a man told me of how he had a problem with his eyes for four decades resulting in progressive loss of vision, headaches – sometimes so bad he almost went blind with the pain. The doctors had suspected a tumor in the brain but found nothing.

This person took my advice on herbs to rehabilitate the digestive system as his body swung between chronic constipation and bouts of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and diarrhea.

It turned out that the first effect of the herbs was a massive reduction in the tension around his eyes and the headaches. He went from about four episodes of headaches and blinding a day to two in a month and then to one every week in four months.

This is one example of the ways gut tension can affect the rest of the body.

Our entire system relies on the area around our core working properly. This core area is as densely populated with nerves and nerve endings as the brain and what happens here, second by second affects the brain and the rest of the system.

There are three major causes of gut tension and hypersensitivity – which are really the same thing – the gut being irritated and reacting in an extreme way.

1) Mild Chronic Poisoning
2) Over-eating
3) Energetic assault or Shock

1) Mild Chronic Poisoning
A lot of the time we think that if we ate something one day and the body did not react to it violently, that means it’s ok for us. It isn’t always OK. There are foods that slowly increase the levels of a poison in the gut, which deposit things in the lining of the digestive system. At one point the body starts reacting violently because the situation has reached a point where if cleaning up doesn’t happen soon enough, one or other of the organs could be seriously affected.

Digestive extremes therefore should be first dealt with by taking out of your diet everything but the simplest home cooked food. You then do gentle detoxification with foods like horseradish, fenugreek seed tea, nettle tea – just herbs and vegetables that support a clean up – nothing extreme.

2) Over-eating

Over-eating caused by anxiety and other emotional causes is something that makes people feel helpless. How do you stop when you’re in the habit for so long?

For a lot of people, one simple thing works. Nutrition. You see, nearly everyone can trace the onset of their over-eating to a time around which they either didn’t have enough food or didn’t have food that was satisfying – like food after which you feel, “Yes, now I’m full and satisfied and can get on to other things now.”

Not being satisfied nutritionally is one of the causes of anxiety and panic attacks as it makes the person prone to emotional extremes.

This results in a whole lot of other problems in the body all the way to heavy menstrual bleeding, hair loss, chronic fatigue, mental slowing and so on.

Adding a source of natural fat to the diet very often begins the process of healing.

It’s not an overnight thing, but if you sit down and think of what you really feel like having and decide to put aside what’s in your head about what you should have, and choose what your gut wants to have instead, you’ll be surprised at how you can go from unsatisfied to satisfied and how that can change your body and your life for the better.

3) Energetic assault or Shock

In our times, there is nearly always some or the other attempt to drain a human’s energy always going on.

Television and media, even books, are consciously aimed at emotional energy manipulation, trying to cause shock to get attention. This is what they now even train students of the media and communication to do.

There’s a lot of competition out there to get your attention, your emotional energy.

Now, when a body in the course of a natural life experiences shock of some kind, the system recognizes it and deals with it.

However, if the shock is not dealt with, perhaps because the person did not realize what was happening at the time, or the person was too busy mentally with some other task, then the nerves of the body and especially around the gut, clench up and don’t relax, waiting for us to resolve the issue.

This sort of shock is constantly delivered by news and other media as well as stress and trauma hormones in commonly available foods and even medicines.

I have found treating the body for recovery from shock lessens the need for treatment of other sorts as it allows the body to accept other treatment and respond well to other medicine and lifestyle healing.

Here are my 5 favorite herbs that help release gut tension and support recovery from gut shock

Intelligent Detox – Herbs that raise body intelligence

If your detoxification programs haven’t been working well enough, and if you have nutritional deficiencies even though you eat healthy enough, you need to remind your body to get back to sifting things properly.

The intelligence of herbs is amazing. They are living beings not dead chemicals. When we have whole herbs who have not been processed in a way that destroys their subtle energies, the herbs get into our bodies and teach the parts of us that are tired or have forgotten how to do things, how to do them efficiently again.

A very important aspect of detoxification and keeping clean on a regular basis, is for our bodies to know what to keep and what to throw out.

The usual herbs for detoxification, laxatives, and urinary stimulators, need the body to keep what’s needed instead of throwing the baby out with the bath water. To do so, would be to cause a whole new set of problems where the body is chronically energy deficient and lacking in important minerals. Continue reading

Me versus Me – Herbs for Autoimmune and Histamine Disorders

When I was at university, I used to cut across the golf course instead of taking the long way around the drive. One day on my way to an exam as I was running across the golf course around noon, I ran into a whole lot of flies, just flies. My face began to itch like crazy. When I reached the building where the exam was, I rushed to the bathroom and discovered to my horror that my face and neck were covered in huge red welts and swollen up – I was unrecognizable. I did the exam anyhow, but it took several hours for the welts and swelling to subside and I never ran across a golf course in the heat of day ever again.

It was one of my many brushes with histamine intolerance. That’s when the body reacts to something like an insect bite, and then reacts wildly to those substances that are supposed to fight whatever foreign substance entered via the insect bite.

It’s the body fighting it’s own self.

And that’s the core of nearly all auto-immune disorders, histamine intolerance, chronic allergies. On every level, if you look at it, it’s a civil war inside the person.

It’s a slug fest of you versus you.

To heal from autoimmune and histamine disorders, chronic allergies etc., the war of Me versus Me must stop. I have found that the Me versus Me battle, is usually based on us behaving with our own selves like we’re tough loveless school masters. Starting to treat our own selves with emotional understanding and the love that’s beyond the rules, changes everything.

But this article is about

herbs that help us on the path to peace between Us and Us Continue reading
