The liver’s work with frequency; Symptoms of Vibrational Assault on the Liver; Becoming allergic to one thing after another; Herbs for Recovery from Liver Trauma; Miasmatic Warfare; Liver Trauma caused by traumatic weaning off mother’s milk
Dear Ed,
Back in the day when Granddad was in the British Army, looking after horses, nearly all health problems were seen as aspects of liver weakness, damage, function and so on. Any sort of long term health support was rated as valuable or not on the basis of how much it supported the liver.Continue reading
A plant native to tropical Americas heals the – broken heart -> weak lungs -> inflamed or stressed liver -> sexual energy blocked – energy pattern. It’s specially use for recovery from Radiation Flu or Pneumonitis, to support oxygenation, and toxin recognition cells is important information for everyone right now.
Ed, Lantana is a plant classified as an invasive weed. When you see that word “invasive” you know immediately it’s fertile, and the word “weed” means it’s hardy and will grow without special care.
Here is the pretty white version of Lantana I saw yesterday that inspired this post:
It’s my personal belief that weeds arrive just when we need them. They are amazing healers, defamed because of being so.
For example, all my childhood I was told that Parthenium weed or “Congress grass” would cause me terrible itching. I found out later though that it is a powerful healer; harvested so many plants with not an itch, and it is the critical ingredient in my treatment for skin cancers because of how it oxygenates the cells it is exposed to. I wrote about it in my recent article: Herbs for Oxygenation .
Similarly, Lantana’s considered an “invasive weed,” but I have found it to be an amazing medicine in so many ways.
This is how the most commonly seen Lantana – or Lantana Camara looks:
Apparently it’s so invasive, there’s an article on the internet, “Global Invasion of Lantana Camara“. The article says, “biological control agents seem insufficient for reducing the reproductive abundance of L. camara to manageable levels“. 😉 that’s my baby!
Some years ago someone told me their dog ate lantana berries all the time. I was surprised because I’d heard those were poisonous and there are internet websites that insist that those are poisonous. In reality however – and I’ve seen this since – dogs eat lantana often and have no noticeable poisonous effect. Neither do the birds.
I haven’t eaten the berries myself as my instinct never led me to. However I have made tea from the leaves on an everyday basis when I had the flu, yes, the FLU, and it cleaned out my lungs like I’d given them a blow dry.
I also use the aromatic leaves for seasoning curries and sauces and what not. I have dried leaves in a box and I take a small handful of them and drop them in warm oil before the onions or tomatoes or whatever else goes in.
And now these are my favorite top four things Lantana does:
1) Powerful Lung Oxygenation
Ed, I experienced this first hand. In January this year both Gabriel and I had the flu. We tend to every year or the other. One day as I was waking up I got the fragrant smell of lantana drying in the front room and I knew I had to have that for my lungs.
The tea brought immediate de-clogging of my respiratory track, relief from the cold headache and body ache.
I had it again and again and gave Gabriel some as well each time.
Because it isn’t a herb that’s in demand, its genome hasn’t been mucked about with, and nearly every plant you’ll find of Lantana is either wild or semi-wild.
It’s natural vitality though is more or less intact.
What a wonderful friend it was during the flu. The flu took its course but it was reduced to something like any other cold because of Lantana’s powerful lung and tissue oxygenation. I also managed to continue with my work and chores without a problem.
The Lung-Liver connection isn’t one spoken of much. But there is a strong connection between the two.
They are both constantly filtering something. The lungs filter air, taking in oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide. The liver filters heavy substances from our food, taking out the poisons.
When a post mortem is done of a dead body, the liver is checked for signs of poisoning.
This function – the one of filtering out poisons, of both the lungs and the liver – depends on cell intelligence.
How do they know what’s a poison and what’s not? How do the lungs know what’s oxygen and what’s not? How do liver cells know what’s a poison and what’s not?
When that ability to recognize what’s a poison and what’s not is compromised, the body fills up with bad air and poisons that should’ve been excreted.
Lantana supports that intelligence – to recognize what’s a toxin and what’s not.
It joins the elite forces of Payapa Leaf – a well-known oxygenator that is a powerful anti-tumor agent for that reason and is so powerful I put it in my Super-antioxidant mix, that’s a part of every treatment for cancer I make.
But Lantana works on a more refined level – actually supporting the repair of those tiny little cells that do the filtration in the lung cells and liver cells.
You have to experience it to feel the difference in the body (and life) caused by the repair and healing of the filtration and poison detection cells in the body.

This beautiful flower’s fragrance is most stunning in the night. It’s spicy and sweet and refreshing.
When a flower sends out its fragrance at night, you know that it helps in the regenerative functions of the brain and nervous system. That means it helps repair damage to the brain and nerves that we go through during the day, helps recovery from stress.
This flower does send its fragrance out in the day as well but it is most concentrated in the late evenings and night.
The tea made from its leaves and flowers is a wonderful calming relaxing cuppa without any of the extra tartness or extra heaviness that can be irritating in other herbs. It is just right.
The tincture is absorbed into the body without any sudden drastic reactions, almost like the gut accepts baby food.
This is my remedy of choice, for the hyper-sensitive, for the fragile, for those in need of the gentlest help in the most sensitive of nerve endings. For babies, for those recovering from surgery, for the frail aged, for new mothers.
It works as a painkiller and mild sedative in nerve ending pain.
Wherever in the body there is frailty and fragility that’s the cause of a problem – whether in the nerve endings or the inner linings of the blood vessels or organs, or intestines (think Crohn’s and IBS!) this is the angel sent by God to help uphold and strengthen the weakest littlest parts of us.
Emotionally or physically our system is one and frailty and fragility are part of everyone’s life experience at some time or the other.
This is the frailty and fragility and hyper-sensitivity expert.
I use it along with or instead of Cypripedium or Lady’s Slipper depending on the particular needs of the person.
This plant has a lot in common with Lantana in its ability to support the liver in recovery from vibrational damage.
What is vibrational damage? Damage caused by radiation, EMF and so on are examples of vibrational damage.
While the whole body is affected by vibrational damage, the liver bears a lot of the brunt for a long time after because it has the extra work of processing out all those cell waste products that got stopped from being processed out during the vibrational assault, as the body redirected its energy to maintain itself instead of doing housekeeping tasks.
Too much vibrational damage clogs up the liver with so much extra work and stress because of it.
Taking powerful detoxifying herbs can help sometimes, but when your liver is tired, those can tire it out even more. Liver supportive herbs like Milk Thistle, Dandelion, Chicory, and especially this one – Buddleja or Butterfly Bush can help regenerate those tired and frail parts of the liver and help things come back to normal.
This is a grounding herb whose benefits for the voice I discovered quite by accident. Sometimes stress, sleep deprivation and the like can cause the nerve endings in the throat to go out of whack.
I always know the state of my throat because several times a day I have to call out my son’s name. He’s an “explorer” you see. Someone has to keep an eye when child explorers roam free inside a house. So all the time, I hear myself calling out his name and it’s a good indication of the state of my throat as the same name comes out in different pitches and different volumes and different tones through the day.
On a day when my voice was especially stressed, I was at the park with him, when I found myself standing a huge Buddleja bush feeling incredible pain relief in my throat just enveloped in its beautiful scent.
I came home and had some of the tea and found my voice changed almost instantly after that, sounding and feeling so much better.
I mention this here because
there are mighty few herbs that will make such drastic difference to a VOICE that quicklyContinue reading
Today I came across on a gardening show, the stunning ethereal Ceanothus.
Why it is called New Jersey Tea is because during the war of the American Revolution ie. the war which resulted in the USA forming as a country independent from Britain, American dependence on tea, which was at the time mostly imported through the British commercial networks, had to be stopped.
The leaves of this wild shrub were used instead of Camellia Sinensis – which is the usual tea plant.
Now if you have your teas right, you know it’s actually rather difficult to find something to replace the usual tea leaf. There’s something about Camellia Sinensis that’s just right. It doesn’t push you over the top in any way. It’s uplifting and calming and holding together in a very balanced way.
To find a replacement for such a balanced herb was no mean achievement, especially back then when tea was so much more than one choice of beverage among several others.
Ceanothus IS in fact a perfect replacement because like Camellia Sinensis, it ‘holds together’ the system. And not just in subtle ways but in very powerful direct ways.
In severe hemorrhage such as after childbirth, huge cuts with heavy bleeding, hemophilia and any other condition where the body needs urgent clot forming support, Ceanothus is a powerful medicine for first aid.
All sorts of reactions to stress or shock, where the person (or pet for that matter) experiences hemorrhage, diarhhea, or incontinence are helped immensely both for first aid and for later recovery from such episodes.
The loss of mental concentration and focus because of a shock is helped by taking Ceanothus.
Conditions that involve nervous trembling or twitching benefit from Ceanothus taken regularly as it supports building up the damaged parts of the nervous system, that were damaged due to bad recovery or lack of recovery from shock caused by sudden energy loss.
Radiation or other damage to the inner linings of the body whether in the ENT canal, the throat, the digestive lining or the bowels can be dealt with with the simple addition of a few drops of Ceanothus tincture.
To summarize it, imagine the body as a water body. Recovery from any shock to the water body, destabilizing the water and liquid movements, pooling and function, can be helped in a big way by Ceanothus.
I could go on and on writing about how Ceanothus can help every single organ in the body. It even is good for the teeth!
But I will end this post with – Ceanothus is powerful first aid for recovery from shock that has had a physical impact and physical symptoms. It is also a pain killer and helps long term recovery from the lingering effects of shock and trauma to the system.
I write this article from personal experience. When I was 13, I developed shortsightedness or myopia almost overnight. I had terrible headaches reading, and after many weeks of suffering, was finally prescribed glasses that made me able to read without a headache again.
At first I found wearing glasses pretty cool. For once in my life I looked like a ‘good’ girl by convent school standards. Spectacles meant you were the studying type. My glasses were photo-sensitive which meant they turned dark when I was out in the sun. That made me very cool riding on my bicycle (or so I thought, till an old teacher told me only criminals and film stars wore dark glasses and I better come back to reality).
Six months later I found the glasses irritating. The place they sat on my nose was always raw and red and hurting. I couldn’t play and run about with as much abandon as before because now I had to take care of the glasses. They became very very irritating, so I decided that it was time to get rid of them.
I said a deep prayer one Sunday and started doing all the things I instinctively felt would cure the problem and two weeks later. I mean this literally, two weeks later, my eyesight was back to normal. All I’d done was follow my instinct and relax my eyes, and practice eye exercises that I’d learned in school as part of P.T. class.
I tested my eye-sight by reading out the names of buses approaching our bus-stand long before any of the others in the bus-stand could read the number of the bus. People in the bus-stand used to turn around amazed that I could read the bus numbers when the bus itself was so very far away. Many didn’t believe me till the bus came near.
My brush with spectacles made me every now and then do eye exercises when I felt a problem coming on, and I maintained my eye-sight.
When I was 28 and applied for a driving license I had perfect vision.
It wasn’t that I didn’t have eye problems. As a sensitive person my eyes and eye sight are even more vulnerable than the average person, but I learnt early and quick how to heal and recover.
I would like to share what I’ve learned with you.
3 things that can rehabilitate the eye-sight powerfully.
1) Relaxation
2) Muscle Exercises
3) Housekeeping
1) Relaxation to heal the eyes
There’s a wonderful book published in 1920 by William H. Bates an eye doctor that helped many heal from debilitating troubling eye problems. He, like many other concluded that unreleased tension and stress were behind most severe eye disorders, and relaxing the eyes nearly always solved the problem.
In my experience, I find that unreleased trauma, where a person has chosen on some level to put off the facing of a reality because it would cause them to make changes in their lives they did not want to make, is one of the most common causes of deep set long term eye disorders.
A program that includes real unwinding, not just getting wound up and tense differently from the usual stress causing experiences- something like lying in bed doing nothing or sitting at the beach watching the waves; and which includes active and conscious resolution of emotional trauma is the way to go.
There are several ways to relax the eyes immediately. Rubbing your hands together to warm them up and then covering your eyes with your warm palms is a quick easy one.
Just give your eyes some love.
I rub my hands near my heart and then put them on my eyes -to remind my eyes that, “WE are all about love, don’t get too jaded looking at the lovelessness in the world, we’re still here”.
Here’s an ‘inner smile’ exercise of my own that can be done anytime anywhere, while traveling and so on. How you do it is, you become aware of the center of your body. The very center point deep in your gut. You smile from there. You have to try it to know how to do it. Just smile from there. You might start crying at first and your nerves might tremble and shake. Slowly the smile expands from the center of the body till you’re wholly in the cloud of the smile. Have a try and see what I’m talking about.
2) Muscle Exercises to correct Eye-sight Disorders
The eye muscle is like the muscles everywhere. It is affected by the hormonal states of the body and needs to be exercised so it can efficiently deal with the changes night and day, the time of the month, the seasons and the times of life.
There are several eye exercises to do for specific conditions. But almost all are helped in big ways by the following five exercises – you’ll find they are a huge aid to releasing emotional trauma which is mot often the cause of eye problems in the first place.
Doing them twice or at least once a day can make a huge huge huge difference.
Here they are:
1) Fix your eyes on a point in front of you and focus on it for as long as possible without straining. Feel your emotions, your feelings as you do.
2) Circle your eyes clockwise 10 times, anti-clockwise 10 times.
3) Fix your eyes on a point in front of you and then turn your face slowly to one side, so your nose is pointing towards your side. The turn your face the other side slowly, always keeping your eyes fixed on the point in front of you.
4) Find two points and merge them into one by crossing your eyes. Hold the sight, feeling your feelings.
5) Then choose one point, and crossing your eyes split it into two. Hold the sight and feel how you’re feeling.
If you are doing exercises 4 and 5 for the first time, print out this free chart available on the internet which has directions to help you get going: The instructions and a chart that comes with them.
3) Housekeeping for Eye Rehabilitation
Everyday the body does a lot of work and this work results in waste products that have to be thrown out efficiently or they’ll become toxins hanging about. Keeping the body metabolically fresh and clean goes a long way in helping the eyes become healthy and eye sight problems resolve naturally.
You can make yourself the eye drops easily enough at home.
Make your own herbal eye-drops
Get a dropper bottle.
Fill it up 90% with spring water, or distilled water or colloidal silver water strained very very very well.
Then put in a drop each of Bach Flower Rescue Remedy, Extracts of Celandine, Rue, Valerian and Golden Seal.
I add a tiny drop of Scullcap for those with very severe eye strain and who also have trouble sleeping, a drop of Passionflower for those with eye disorders that are habit based, and in cases where there is severe trauma involved, highly diluted Datura Stramonium.
