The 4 Axes of Holistic Intelligence, Herbs for Balance

Description of the 4 axes of holistic intelligence with herbs that help them; Conversation with Granddad about Intelligence, Identity, Sexual Identity, Waking and Sleeping Sexual Intelligence

Ed, I’ve been watching episodes of a 1989 British produced television series called “Poirot”. It’s based on the books of Agatha Christie, the main character of which is Hercule Poirot, a Belgian detective living in London. He has phenomenal intelligence and acute sensitivity.

Don’t fear the pain. Migraines – Holistic Treatment

Letter to Ed about my Granddad’s way of treating a chronic migraine, herbs for rehabilitation from migraine, and an exercise to realign the spine for pain relief.

Ed, a headache or, in its extreme form, called a Migraine, can be caused by so many different reasons – from hormonal extremes, to nervous tension, to dehydration, to liver congestion and even plain stress.

Essentially however, it is a call for immediate help from the energy field. It means that the brain which manages the functions of the body, is stressed, overworked and under-functioning and NO MORE WORK can be done at this time. Continue reading

Chilblains & Raynaud’s Syndrome – Herbs to Balance Body Temperature

As a sufferer of severe Raynaud’s where my finger joints would go purple and black every winter, I’ve given a lot of thought to this condition and tried all kinds of treatments for it till I finally found something that really worked.

Chronic Nervous Inflammation – Reversing the Trend

Some years ago I was sitting in a bus-stop when I saw a woman shuffling along with a bag she was finding hard to carry even though it didn’t look very big or bulky. That’s how life is for people with chronic inflammation of the brain and nervous system. Continue reading

Herbs for Overworked Brains

This is for those who tend to use their brains in manic ways to the point where they feel burned out, their heads literally over heated.

Brain stress and burnout isn’t caused just by overthinking. The brain can get wound up and overworked hormonally, through the effect of drugs that stimulate the glands in the brain. The brain can get over-heated dealing with the sudden demands of the body in dealing with hormonal changes like puberty, pregnancy, even changes in the temperature around us. Continue reading

Herbs go where words can’t. Herbs to comfort.

There are times in life when all you can do for a loved one or your self is to simply comfort. Times of shock, grief, bereavement, you don’t really know what to do, and there is precious little anyone can say at times like those.

A cup of a soothing herbal tea that’s not too strong, can help. Herbal tinctures put into a little bottle and given every half an hour or so, can help in big ways to calm a grief stricken person and help them to cope with any tasks that demand their mental attention. Continue reading
