Please note: These are just the usual herbs used for this condition. I do not have bottles sitting on shelves with this recipe. I prepare each treatment from scratch for each individual for that time, using only what is best suited to that individual's unique requirement and using seasonal and freshly made herbal extracts where I can. I also often split the treatment into 2 or 3 for specific times of day where that can make a difference.

Description

Tropical ulcers are ulcers of the skin caused by bacterial infection and poor local cell intelligence. They start off as lesions that grow or join together to form open wounds. In about a week there is often pus, what looks like boils – but spread out a little wider, and then if the person has relatively good blood circulation there is the formation of granulation and a layer of dead cells sloughing off. If there is weak blood circulation, like for example in the case of a long term smoker whose wounds take very long to heal, the granulation is delayed and the ulcer remains an open wound.

In either case, healing the ulcer depends on maintaining healthy blood supply to the area and supporting the skin in healing.

For external application, I have a simple but effective combination made up of Colloidal Silver – which is a disinfectant, antiseptic and antibiotic and the herbal extracts of Papaya leaf, Guava leaf, Pomegranate peel, Aloe Vera and Thuja.

The papaya has the ability to cause the dissolution of tissue that isn’t natural in the area.

The guava is a tropical tree which has evolved to protect itself from all sorts of bacteria. It has the special ability to soothe and energize the exposed tender areas of the flesh without stressing the cells there.

Pomegranate has the vital energy and nutrients to work a bit like an astringent and stimulate immune response, again without tiring the area. It also prevents and treats the pigmentation and swelling that often surround tropical ulcers as the body tries to isolate and neutralize the bacterial infection.

Aloe is gentle support with all the nutrition for the wound to heal and Thuja prevents further granulation while generally supporting immunity.

Should you require circulation support, the Herbal Medicine for Circulation to Hands, Feet, Extremities is a powerful circulation booster. I will, of course modify it to suit you and any information you supply while ordering will help me make an effective internal support for healing from the tropical ulcer.
