This is a herbal concentrate that can be given internally as a tonic (mixed with organic cider vinegar) or used externally as a spray, mixed with vinegar and methylated spirits.

To use as a tonic, mix in 25ml of herbal extract to 1 litre of Vinegar.
To use as a spray mix 2 oz – 56 ml of herbal extract with 1 litre each of vinegar and methylated spirit. First wet the skin, then spray. This will allow for the treatment to reach the skin of the horse and coat it.

Please note: These are just the usual herbs used for this condition. I do not have bottles sitting on shelves with this recipe. I prepare each treatment from scratch for each individual for that time, using only what is best suited to that individual's unique requirement and using seasonal and freshly made herbal extracts where I can. I also often split the treatment into 2 or 3 for specific times of day where that can make a difference.
