What is your ointment base for topical herbal treatments?

Carica Papaya is in Paw Paw Ointment used to carry herbal treatments.
Carica Papaya contains the powerful enzyme Papain.
All our topical herbal treatments from skin healing, to skin allergies and cancers have a legendary ointment base called Papaw Ointment, Paw Paw Ointment or PauPau Ointment. This iconic Aussie ointment made with 39% fermented fruit of the Carica Papaya grown in Queensland and made according to the recipe invented by Thomas Pennington Lucas in the early 1900s, who used it as a super-medicine for almost everything both internally and externally (so your dog can lick it all he or she wants without a problem).

Lucas’s original recipe uses gum of Peruvian Balsam for a mild perfume, food grade petroleum jelly as a preservative.

The powerful enzyme Papain found only in Papaya breaks down protein and applied externally is an agent of radical healing change on its own. Combined with other infection fighting, skin conditioning, cancer fighting herbs, each of our ointments is a force to be reckoned with.
